Witterings enjoyed an enjoyable afternoon playing against Moordown BC, a visiting team from Bournemouth.

The rain held off and the game was played in a very friendly manner with good banter across all rinks.  Wittering did win overall by 100 - 79, winning on 3 rinks, drawing on one and losing on one.  It is always good to play against new people and we showed our hospitality at its best.

 Scores were:

 Will Stefanou, Val Hooker, Fred Knotts and Chris Bruce won 23 - 6 

Allie Mill, Doug Holden, David Gibbons and Lindsay Bangs won 23 - 13

 Adrian Martin, Margaret Bowell, Colin Carter and Stuart Hooker won 24 - 16

 Sandy Paton, Graham Kiddle, Alan Somerville and Gwilym Morgan drew 17-17

 Derek Sparkes, Debbie Martin, Bryan Smethurst and Julie Mulligan lost 13 - 27
