Julie Mulligan, Teresa Heathorn, Jan Derkatsch and Anne May won 16 – 13

Sheila Currell, Sue Dobson, and Barbara Newman lost 8 – 12

Helen Mason, Diane Leach and Maureen Mulligan won 21 - 8

Because of the heat, it was decided that the Rink would play 18 ends and the Triples would play 16 ends with no trial ends 

and just 1 shot on the first two ends only.

All finished at the same time and nobody collapsed through heat exhaustion .
