 Witterings 48 - Emsworth 51 Friendly

Wittering & District Ladies recently travelled to Emsworth BC for a very friendly match against their Ladies.

On a very hot day we played a full Triples game and were very glad of the water available all afternoon and the cups of tea/coffee after the match. 

There was a lovely tea with cheese scones and home made cakes which ended a very pleasant afternoon. 

Helen Mason, Sandy Paton and Barbara Newman (Sk) lost 18-20 - 

Teresa Heathorn, Sheila Currell and Ros Hanbury (Sk) won 21 - 6 

Lesley Thomas, Maureen Mulligan and Chris Horsley lost 9 - 25. Emsworth winning by 3 shots overall.
