Friendly. Witterings 63– Liphook 73

Wittering were unable to field a full team and took three players from

their triples to form a team and replaced them with loan players from Liphook, which

enabled all the Liphook players to play in the match.

Results as follows:

Doug Holden, Teresa Heathorn and Tony Nixon (Skip) won 22 –12

John Heathorn,Sue Ives and Jan Derkatsch (Skip) lost 11 – 24

Ron Prior, Dick Balchim and Marina Aylward (Skip) Lost 14 – 21

Maureen Penny,Alan May and Gwilym Morgan (Skip) Drew 16 – 16

This was a really enjoyable game played in good spirits with a full sit down meal

after nine ends .Liphook a look forward to playing Witterings again

next year and making it a double fixture (home and away)
