Witterings 49 - Liphook 71

Witterings travelled to Liphook to play this four triples match. 

The Green was testing, irritating and above all difficult to bowl on. By their

own admission they have had many problems this year, taking advice from Bowls England

and other specialists.

Results were as follows: 

Sheila Currell, Ron Prior and Anne May (Skip) Won 18 – 15; 

Sue Dobson.Marion Corbett. and Brian Barnes (Skip) Lost 7 – 20;

Doug Holden, Glyn Dobson and Tony Nixon (Skip) lost 13 – 18 ;

Alan May, Lesley Thomas and Diane Leach (Skip) lost 11 –18. 

We look forward to playing them on our Green in September.
