Carole Tuffin's team couldn't match the steady scoring of their opponents who widened the gap with 5 and 4 shots on the 12th and 13th ends and lost 12 -22.

 Ken Clark's team however were not put off by Petworth's 7 shots on the second end. They scored steadily throughout to win the match 21-19.
