Phil White, Alan Somerville, Judy Bangs and Marina Aylward won 17-13

Mike Trusler, Tony Nixon, John Hardy and Marion Corbett lost 12-24

Brian Curtis, Cliff Porter, Ros Hanbury and Carole Tuffin lost 19-20

Val Hooker, Chris Jelf, Lindsay Bangs and Dave Bell won 26-17

Frank Bray, Lesley Swift, Pat Hutton and Stuart Hooker lost 14-25

Witterings entertained a touring side, Wyrral Park Bowls Club, and everybody enjoyed a wonderful afternoon's bowling in bright sunshine. With a full 6 rinks playing, the visitors won by 4 rinks to 2.
