Witterings 28 – Bognor Regis 30 .GS & M League.

Wittering Ladies played Bognor Ladies at Waterloo Square in the GS&M Ladies League in the driving rain!

The start of the match was delayed because of the weather but eventually the Ladies braved the elements.

This was not the most pleasant of afternoon bowling but a very nice cream tea held in the Club's pavilion was a welcome end to the day.

Julie Mulligan, Sue Dobson, Ros Hanbury and Chris Horsley ((Sk) lost 10-15,

Marion Corbett, Val Hooker, Barbara Newman and Anne May (Sk) won 18-15

Witterings 2 points , Bognor Regis 4 points.

The friendly match was a challenge for the Wittering bowlers (2 new bowling ladies) but they fought back well with a credible result.
