A very convivial match was held today in strong,gusty winds against a strong team from Bognor Regis. 

Brian Barnes, Ken Clark, Ron Prior, Dave Bell won 22 - 7. 

Mick Gough, Geoff Harsant, Paul Chivers, Fred Knotts lost 18 –19:

Bryan Smethurst, Alan Somerville, Chris Jelf, Ray Stephens drew 15 – 15 

Mike King, Tony Nixon, Eric Shoyer and Jim Slogrove lost 11-33

Overall the points score in favour of Bognor Regis was 74 – 66, a shortfall of 8 points for the Witterings. 

We look forward to a return match at Bognor when we hope to reverse the result.
