Friendly. Witterings 111 – Hook & Southborough 72
With early morning heavy rain and persistent gale force winds throughout the afternoon
the matches were an endurance test for everyone.
The afternoon was spent in good spirits with teams who had travelled some distance
not knowing whether the match was going ahead or not, several having left home the previous day
to spent the night in the area.
All survived however and were happy to gather in the club house for a meal before their long trek home.
