After the first match of the season against Headley Bowls Club, Witterings came out winners on all rinks. The results were as follows:

Ros Hanbury, Ken Clark and Fred Knotts (Skip) Won 20 - 16

Sheila Currell, Ron Prior and Marina Aylward (Skip) Won 17 - 15
