On a humid evening Witterings enjoyed playing a five triples mixed friendly away against Fishbourne. Witterings won two triples, drew one and lost two.
Alan Somerville, Pat Hutton and Stuart Hooker lost 8-27
Val hooker, Judy Bangs and Barry Horsley drew 16-16
Cliff Porter, Ros Hanbury and Eric Shoyer lost 12-18
Georgina Porter, Paul Chivers and Chris Horsley won 19-18
Maurice Lillywhite, Jan Derkatsch and Lindsay Bangs won 19-15 (top rink)
