Witterings 27 – Norfolk 54

On a windy but fine afternoon at Littlehampton, Witterings men lost on both rinks to strong opposition.

John Heathorn, Alan Somerville, Ken Clark and Lindsay Bangs (skip) lost 14 – 31 

Brian Barnes, Ron Prior, Glyn Dobson and Tony Nixon (skip) lost 13 – 30 (revised 13-23)

After a deduction of 25% because of a failure by Norfolk to field a full team the revised score was a loss of 13 – 23. Overall an enjoyable afternoon
