 Ladies Invitation Day at the Witterings Bowls Club.

'Witterings Ladies recently had the pleasure of welcoming 10 other Clubs from the district to their annual Ladies Invitation Tournament. The weather was perfect for bowling and everyone had a good time.

The afternoon started with the a spider in aid of the 'Concern for Life' local Children's Charity. The match was followed by a lovely meal prepared by Club members, which everyone enjoyed. 

The top three winning teams all received cash prizes presented by the Club's President, Fred Knotts. 

The winners were: Burgess Hill (1st), Little Spain (2nd) and Witterings (3rd). The Ladies Captain, Chris Horsley, thanked the members of the Witterings for all their hard work in making the event a real success.'
