27th July 2012 THE SNOWDROP TRUST CHARITY EVENT

Four ladies and 4 male bowlers from The Witterings & District Bowls Club played at Worthing, Beach Park last Friday in support of the SNOWDROP CHILDREN’S TRUST. This annual event is sponsored by Tony Wright of C & M Trophies.

The men’s team were successful with a winning score of + 44 shots. The team was, Frank Bray, Lindsay Bangs, Barry Horsley and Jim Slogrove (skip). Everyone had a very enjoyable afternoon in lovely sunny weather.

The bowlers were able to donate £847 to this well deserving charity which supplies Specialist Nurses to enable very sick children to be nursed at home in Sussex.
