Wittering played Bognor Blue away on 11.05.23 in the return of the fixture that they won at home last week. The green played v heavy, and conditions on the day were fair. After initially leading 3-8 after 7 ends, Derek’s team including Fred and Maureen found the oppositions long jacks difficult and unfortunately eventually lost 15 -12. Witterings 2nd team Anne, Ian and skip Stuart fared a lot better, scoring 4 shots on ends, 5 and 7 [not quite a hot shot!] winning convincingly 7-36.
