WITTERINGS TRIPLES WEEKEND.

On Saturday morning 36 players gathered at the Witterings Bowls Club as the draw was made to decide the triples teams.

Three matches of 6 ends each were played in the morning and after a break for lunch and a rotation of teams two further matches were played in the afternoon.

On Sunday two matches were played in the morning and the two teams with the highest points total played for the trophy in the afternoon which produced the winning team of Ron Prior, Tom O’Donnell and Graham Kiddle.

The runners up were Doug Holden, Mark White and Bryony Jessiman.

All players were well looked after by Adrian, Debbie and team with refreshments provided throughout a sunny and most enjoyable weekend.
