RESULT: LOST (74-54)

It was lovely to once again be able visit our neighbours at Selsey bowling club. 

Previously known as Little Spain Bowling Club, the club unfortunately had to close its green and cancel all fixtures last season. 

Witterings wish our neighbours every success under their new name and hope that the problems encountered are resolved.

On a hot, sunny afternoon we played 4 mixed rinks and achieved mixed results.

John Langworthy, Doug Holden, Carole Tuffin (s) were trailing 6-15 after 12 ends but then won the remaining 6 ends. Won 15-18

Lin Seary, Graham Kiddle, Gordon Silva (s) battled all afternoon but to no avail, eventually they lost 25-11

Kate Cramp, David Buckton, David Gibbons (s) were Witterings 2nd winning rink of the afternoon, building their score steadily from the 8th end to 

win 9-16

Helen Mason, Tom O'Donnell, Ian Harper (s) started well but were unfortunately unable to hold on to the lead that they had after 8 ends, land lost 25-9

We look forward to welcoming Selsey to our green next month when we hope to be able to make amends for todays result.
