Witterings 33 - Petworth 85

On a lovely sunny afternoon Petworth demonstrated that although they suffered a heavy defeat

at our green,they are no slouches when it comes to playing on their all weather surface at home.

Although we lost on all three rinks the afternoon was very enjoyable with all matches  played in good spirit 

Ann Miles, Glyn Dobson and Stuart Hooker lost 14 - 34;

Kate Nixon, Ron Prior and Diane Leach lost 11 -20, 

Sheila Currell, Brian Barnes and Tony Nixon lost 8 - 31.

One point to note is that a pair from Petworth will be playing a pair from Witterings at Witterings in

the county pairs .
