PEG LILLYWHITE 

It is with great sadness that we have received the news of the death of Peg Lillywhite a Life Member of the Witterings and District Bowls Club.

Peg joined our bowls club in 1994 and very soon became an invaluable member willing to accept the numerous posts she was offered.

From 1998-1999 Ladies Vice Captain, 2000 Competition Secretary, 2001-2004 Club Secretary, 2005-2007 Treasurer, 2010-2016 Trustee and in 2013 a Life Member.

She won many competitions during her years with the club and when she was no longer able to play bowls she would come along to watch, encourage

and advise new members always willing to learn from such an experienced player.

We are happy to say that when Peg was able she would join us for social events giving time for a chat and 'catch up' with both old and new menbers.

Her company at the Club is sorely missed and we send our condolences to all of the family at this very sad time.
