JUNE 1ST 2021 WELCOME WEEKEND

posted 1 Jun 2021, 08:32 by Jen Knotts

My sincere thanks to all committe and club members whose input during the past four days made the Welcome Weekend exceed all our expectations.

Chris, John, Gwilym and Carole have worked tirelessly with coaching and collating details - no mean feat over a four day period , thank you.
The greens looked stunning as usual (thank you Ken) and I feel sure the Witterings and District Bowls Club was a surprise to those who had no idea what was behind the blue and white gates!

The past eighteen months have been a testing time for all of us but we look forward now to Covid restrictions being removed, the Bowls Club fully opened, matches fulfilled and hospitality in the pavilion resumed.

Thank you all for your continuing support and good luck in your pending competitions.

Fred
(President)

FEBRUARY 2021 FIXTURES FOR THE 2021 SEASON

posted 11 Feb 2021, 09:49 by Jen Knotts   [ updated 27 Mar 2021, 12:37 by Witterings & District Bowls Club ]

In spite of the uncertainty surrounding our ability to participate in matches during the coming season, a full diary of matches, both league and friendly, have had to be arranged.
Opening and Open Day along with cleaning days etc. may have to be rearranged but this site will be kept updated for your information with dates and matches altered when necessary.

We are following the guide lines from Bowls England and must adhere to their advice and ruling and can only hope that some of the restrictions will be lifted to enable more enjoyable games of bowls during the coming months.
