Witterings Men’s Invitation Tournament.

Nine teams from the surrounding county clubs and three home teams gathered at the Witterings club
for an afternoon of competition.
With some close matches, Lancing were the winners with 30 points
followed by Worthing Pavilion Bowls Club with 29 points and
3rd place was Southbourne Bowls Club with 27points.

After the matches the teams enjoyed a hot meal of steak pies and all the trimmings plus a dessert.
A vote of thanks from Tony Nixon (captain) was extended to sponsors Henry Adams Estate Agents,The Shore Inn and Bowling Abroad
and also Waterhog Africa (a local company devoted to Water Well Drilling, Education and Safaris) for their donation of a special prize.
